This tutoring session was my first session with Ali. Ali currently goes to TCC but was a student at CIES previously and is from Libya. Since this was the first tutoring session with Ali it was used to access skill level and need. Currently he was taking a reading course for the second time with TCC. Ai was a beginning level student and before leaving CIES to go to TCC he was a level one student. We discussed what he wanted help with and currently it was help in his reading course and reading and grammar in general.
