I met with Margarete for the first time and I was a little
intimated just because she was older than I was…somewhat significantly (not
that I think this is a bad thing).
During our first session I really took the time to learn about
Margarete, and I allowed her to learn about me in return. In order to do this,
I would ask her a “WH” question and she would do the same in return. I learned
that Margarete had just moved to Tallahassee two weeks prior to us meeting and
that she was living with her niece. Along with this, Marg is from Brazil and
her favorite subject is feminism…ok awesome! She wanted to come to America in
order to get her masters and she hopes to return to Brazil one day to help
women in need.
