Cailin CO #2

Today I observed a Group 2 Reading class. The class started off by going over the agenda the students should follow for the week. The professor then gave the students a passage to rad and would have them answer questions about things such as; context clues, main idea, pronoun meaning, etc. The students then had group discussions about the questions and reviewed them together, throughout this the professor would take notes on the discussion and would also add her own ideas to it. I think this is important because the professor was opening the students' minds by doing this. The class then read a chapter in their "class book". While reading the professor would teach students new vocab phrases that occurred in the book.
