Once
again Marg and I met and discussed our days...she is so funny I love hearing
what she has to say! Per Marg’s request, I had a few video clips with dictation
activities prepared just like we did last session. I had a couple Full House
clips along with random dialog clips I found online. The dialog clips included
conversations about things such as; parties, shopping, and a job interview.
Along with developing listening skills this activity allowed Marg to learn some
new vocabulary that Americans commonly use. Marg learned terms such as;
“clothing rack”, “max out my credit card”, “resume”, “experience”, “bring him
along”, etc. I think this lesson really helped her on a number of things and
she seemed to enjoy it. I will truly miss Marg, she is a smart woman!
