Cailin CW #4

This cultural workshop we again helped the CIES students on their project. Unfortunately, Lina was absent because her son was sick L Therefor we only had Saeed with us. Kyle joked with Saeed about how he better not make us do all the work for him. Saeed was extremely eager to help out and give his input on the project. For their project the CIES students are required to fill out a three-piece poster board. We decided that it would be best for us to at least get an outline of what we wanted the board to look like. We decided on having the board compare and contrast our three cultures; UAE, USA, and Russia. We had three circles in which we would show how each country was different, how two countries were similar, and how each three were similar (depending on where the intersected). We compared and contrasted things like religion, jobs, drinking habits, family matters, etc.
