Cailin TS #13

Marg and I start off our session by having a conversation about our week. This session Marg tells me that she needs help on identifying the main topic in a story. This was a great topic for me to address because I already happened to have a lesson written on this. In this lesson I included a short video so I had Marg watch that. After this we read a short excerpt from a story together. After reading this, I had Marg explain to me what the main topic of the excerpt was and what supporting details were included. Marg was extremely good at this! I was surprised that she thought she needed work on it because I thought the story might even be a little advanced for her. We did a couple more exercises similar to this and Marg did fantastic in all of them! I was very proud.
