Marg and I start off our sessions by having small talk with each
other, talking about our day, etc. During our conversation I noticed that Marg
has difficulty with “to be” verbs. I could understand what she was saying
however she would be using verbs like “was”, “did”, “has”, “have”, etc.
incorrectly. I had her practice this by using quizzes that have you select the
correct form of each verb to fill in a sentence. Sometimes it would take Marg a
couple of tries but by the end of the lesson she was very good at this. She is
always very honest so I know whether she understands something or not.
