For my last tutoring session I meet with Ali. Again we went over reading as he wanted. We went over a small news paper article I found online. I wanted him to practice with native English speaker materials but I had red the article before hand and it was a summary of a small event that they had in my hometown and was very short and not to much higher level vocabulary. So after he read that we went over it and I explained that it was from my city and asked if he had any events of festivals that he celebrated. And since he was Muslim and Ramadan had just passed he told me about that. The main purpose was to have him practice conversing more since he does not get much practice in speaking.
