Demery TP-12

I met with Dojun on July 28th. We spoke at length about the upcoming American election and what this means for the new world. Dojun also commented on my lack of apartment decor. I was preparing to move out of my apartment in the next three days, so my bedroom was bereft of a bed. It was also missing any other form of furniture. We also focused on the multiple uses of the words SOME and ANY. I told Dojun about the discrepancies that occurred between both words, and I showed him the pattern thats occur with both words. I explained how ANY is used for more negative circumstances, whereas SOME is used for more positive ones. I think he was confused for a bit, because the discrepancy is so minute. Yet, it was in this tiny discrepancy that I believe Dojun realized something important about rules. Dojun is incredibly adherent to grammar rules, and this sometimes holds him back from his grammar in use. By realizing that grammar rules are not entirely set in stone, Dojun was able to release some of that pressure.
