This tutoring session with Seoha was focused on reading as usual. I spent part of the time reading to her, and part of the time listening to her read. While I was reading, I tried to engage her and get her to talk to me by asking questions about the text. I found that she really liked those books that have different textures for kids to touch and feel. We read a lot of those books. When I encounter a simple word in the text, I have her read it, and sometimes she reads a whole page of the book to me. She continues to improve on her reading skills.
