I had my first tutoring session with Ayah. This was just a simple needs assessment and getting to know each other meeting. She is quite advanced and very young. She came to America right after high school and is already in Group 4. She will be starting undergrad this fall and wanted to focus on her reading and listening skills with me. We talked about what kinds of books she’s read, what she thinks of America, and what her life was like back home.
