I had my third tutoring session with Seoha. She wasn’t very talkative, as usual, but we spent a lot of time reading books together. I tried to alternate reading a book to her with her reading a book to me. I picked out a series called BOB books. They are the same books that I learned to read with and feature very short sentences and repetitive words that often rhyme. There are many books in this series and they get progressively harder. So we spent this tutoring session reading to each other. I let her pick the books for me to read to try to engage her interest.
