For this tutoring session it was my second one with Ali. We meet at a local Starbucks and I had researched good websites and articles to help further reading compression. One of the websites I used esl gold, which I had used previously with one of the other persons I tutored. had a lot of different resources. specifically for reading. this website had many reading passages in different skill levels. followed by comprehension questions as well as activities for this session, we went over different reading passages and mainly what Ali struggled on was specifics. he was able to get the general idea of the story but had issues on getting specific details from the passage.
