In this tutoring session, Djamila brought her TOEFL prep book and we worked through another reading practice exam. It was encouraging because she got a much better score than she did on the last reading exam we did together. This lesson was about two hours, but for the first hour she was just working through the exam. After she had finished, we went through the answers together. She is already pretty good at selecting the correct answer, but only if she thinks through it carefully. Her biggest obstacle is simply finishing in time. For next time, I want to work on speed with her, because if she could read the texts faster I think she would have really high accuracy with the extra time for questions.
