Selene TP-7

This time, Matthew was forced by his mom to do his reading. However, when we met last Wednesday and I asked him what the main idea of the chapter was, he couldn't remember anything about it. I can't tell whether he didn't really read it or he just didn't want to cooperate. Probably the former. I think assigning him reading for homework is proving to be very ineffective. After brainstorming on the internet and asking my friends for advice, I have decided that puzzles and riddles might be a more effective way to get Matthew's attention. He is easily distracted and bored but he does care about certain topics like space, sports, and, oddly enough, olympic gods. He is a very smart kid and I will have to find a smart way to get him to practice his reading and writing skills.
