I previously observed a listening class before this one I observed the differences between them. To start the other listening class was group 2 and this was a group 3 class. While I observed both classes they both had quizzes the days I observed. But for this one students had to create there own sentences once given a word, compared to the lower level class where they listened to a lecture, twice, and wrote notes on it. Both contained vocabulary sections but group 3 was high level and less frequently used vocabulary terms. After the quiz students worked on transcribing and writing word for word the sentence the teacher said.
